Rift Watcher (riftwatcher.com) is run by one person. This page says what the site collects about you, which is very little, and what third parties see when you use it.
The site has no sign-up, no login and no forms. It never asks for your name, email address or payment details. If you email [email protected], your message and address are kept only as long as needed to reply.
The site is served by Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare sees your IP address and browser details in order to deliver pages and block abuse, and keeps them under its own privacy policy.
Page views are counted with Cloudflare Web Analytics. It does not set cookies, does not fingerprint your browser and does not follow you to other sites. The site operator sees totals per page, country and browser, never individual visitors.
When a page breaks, the browser sends an error report to Sentry so the fault can be fixed. A report contains the page address, the browser and device type and the error itself. Reports are not linked to your identity, and the site does not send your IP address or any personal detail on purpose.
The site shows ads served by Google AdSense. Google and its advertising partners use cookies and similar identifiers to serve ads based on your earlier visits to this and other websites, to limit how often you see an ad and to measure whether ads work. Google explains what it collects on its partner sites page.
You can turn off personalised ads in Google's ad settings. Visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland are asked for consent before any advertising cookie is set, and can change that choice at any time from the link in the site footer. Visitors in US states with privacy laws can opt out of the sale or sharing of their data the same way.
Links to TCGPlayer are affiliate links run through Impact. When you click one, Impact and TCGPlayer set cookies on their own domains so that a purchase in the following days can be credited to this site. The site operator is told the order total and commission, not who bought it. Links to Deepforge Brawl on Steam carry a campaign tag so Steam can report how many visits came from here.
Card art and legend art load from Riot Games' content servers. Product images load from TCGPlayer. Those servers see your IP address when the image is fetched, as with any image on the web.
The site itself sets no cookies. It uses the browser's session storage to remember that you dismissed a banner, to cache a sale notice for the session and to avoid a reload loop after a failed update. A service worker caches pages and data so the site works offline. All of this stays on your device and is cleared when you clear site data.
The site is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect anything from them.
If this page changes, the date at the top changes with it. Questions go to [email protected].
