You order the replacement effects on your unit. Ki Barrier first: your unit takes no damage with 3 prevention remaining. Lotus Trap first: your unit takes 1 damage with no prevention remaining. With the Vendetta rules update, all replacement effects that would apply to combat damage being dealt — prevention and damage-increasing alike — apply during damage assignment instead.
